Highlights:

Venice

One of the world's most beautiful cities also happens to be one of its most unusual. Venice is actually made up of over 120 islands in the Adriatic Sea. Because the city is connected by canals instead of streets, a good way to see Venice is on a romantic gondola ride. The epicenter of the city is St. Mark's Square, where you'll find the 900-year-old Basilica of St. Mark.

Split

Lined with palm trees, this Adriatic seaside town is also a cultural mecca. Within the walls of the Diocletian Palace, you’ll discover historical buildings, numerous museums, the National Theatre and a collection of old churches. Culture, beauty, natural wonder - Split has it all.

Dubrovnik

This charming little town has been resting on the Dalmation Coast for some 1,300 years. Once you pass through Old Town's stone walls, you will be transported into the breathtaking medieval world of Stari Grad. Marble-paved squares, monasteries and fountains are just a few of the antiquities still standing just as they were over a thousand years ago.

Kotor

The town of Kotor is a true gem that can be found nestled on the sparkling Adriatic. Its imposing city walls that zigzag 2 ½ miles up steep mountains add to its rugged charm. There is something for everyone is this town deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site: museums, history, monuments, restaurants, medieval architecture, and ancient churches galore. Take a slow stroll down its narrow streets that have inspired artists for centuries and find the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, a monument of Roman culture, and one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.

Corfu

One of the most beautiful islands in all of the Mediterranean, Corfu casts a magical spell on those fortunate enough to visit its shores. Silvery olive trees grace the countryside, lemon trees scent the air, vivid blooms catch your eye, and the sapphire sea against the verdant land is a stunning contrast. Corfu is undoubtedly the greenest island in all of Greece. A leisure stroll through the narrow alleyways will reveal many local treasures from fine wines to fresh seafood.

Taormina

With endlessly winding medieval streets and secluded gardens hidden by stone walls, Taormina enchants visitors with its history and beauty. Old Taormina features archeological monuments and medieval homes like Palazzo Santo Stefano, along with magnificent views of the sea and the Greco-Roman amphitheatre, one of Sicily's largest. Dine on sumptuous seafood in the many quaint restaurants and shop for native crafts in the city's numerous shops.

Amalfi

Renowned for its sheer cliffs and striking beauty, the town of Amalfi on the Gulf of Salerno is known for its photographic splendor and its close proximity to Sorrento, Positano and Isle of Capri. This enviable area of Italy also produces the most beautiful handmade paper. For a most interesting afternoon, take a tour the Museo della Carta, the paper museum, and take home the most beautiful souvenirs. Amalfi is also the burial place of Saint Andrew; the town's cathedral is named in his honor.

Sorrento

Found on Italy's famed Amalfi Coast, the city of Sorrento is set atop some of the Mediterranean's most breathtaking cliffs. Close to Pompeii and a short boat ride to the must-see Isle of Capri, this quaint city will no doubt leave you wanting to return.

Rome

Rome is nothing less than spectacular! Visit the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona; you might also want to see the interior of the Colosseum. Be sure to take in the Vatican City, St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, and the interior of St. Peter's Square. The Eternal City has much to offer and your time here will be simply unforgettable
